Five ( 5 ) Different
Real BUSINESSES
“You Can Start In 10 Minutes
And For $0 Dollars”
by: Skip Rosell
The following businesses were authored and written by me
to help the person that wants to start their own home based business. All can be started for zero or low
start-up costs, most for $0 dollars, and can be in profit quickly. How do I know these can be started for
very little upfront money? Because
all of these businesses have been done, by me, or I have worked with and
help others to start them.
I have many emails from people just like you who started
and are running one or more of these businesses today. Your risk is low and the profits can be
high. They all take some kind of
work. It may be working at your
computer or working in the field.
Some are for people that cannot (or do not want to) do heaving
lifting or manual labor and others are for the more physical type person.
But ALL are real businesses that can be started by the
average person and built into a part-time or full-time business. So enjoy
and the best of success to you.

If you would like to receive other home based business
from me that can be started for zero dollars or for a low start up cost

email will only be used to send you my collection of home-based business
ideas.

Business Card Referral Program
by Skip
Rosell
Most days I make a sandwich or have a bowl of soup
for lunch. I can eat the sandwich right at my desk while I go over the
work for the afternoon.
Today, I wanted something different for lunch so I
left my desk and went out for a Pizza I stopped in the local pizza shop
and on the counter was a cool marketing idea. It reminded me of an
article I read about months before. (For the life of me I can’t
remember where or who wrote about this, because I would like to give
them credit for this idea.) But, this is not a new idea but very few
businesses use this profit making marketing idea.
Anyway, I went to pay for the pizza and I saw these
business cards on the counter. I thought they were for the pizza shop
when I noticed the wording in smaller letters.
I took one and when I got back in the car I read it
more carefully. It was actually for another business. But with a BIG
twist. Now why would one business have business cards on their counter
for another business. I can see if they were on a bulletin board but
right at the check out counter?
This turned out to be a real neat marketing trick
that you can use to make money.
It does not cost you any money to start and no money
to produce or run this program. You can do this program if you only
have a few minutes a day to spare. And as I was to find out you can
make $75.00 each and every time you do this.
This is a quick report because it does not take long
to explain but it can make you some good money every day. You can start
this business even if you only have five minutes a day. You can find
that much time on your way home from work. Yes you can run this
business with five minutes in the evening setting it up and finish it
on your way home from work the next day with a two-minute stop. You can
set up and run a program like this while you have friends over for a
weekend get together. Set it up while doing your shopping chores.
Anytime at all is a good time.
How do I know you can do this in the situations as
described above? Because that is exactly what I did when I set up a
number of these programs. And I made $75 bucks on each one.
An Overview
Some businesses just go together like a Landscaper
and a Garden Center--A Pizza shop and a Video Store—A Roofing Company
and A Home Inspection Service.
You will see what I mean a little later in the
report, but first an overview.
Some of the biggest businesses feed off of each
other for referral business. The one that comes to mind is financial
businesses. The banks have lists of surveyors, insurance agents,
realtors, title companies, etc. They keep these list so they can
recommend these services to their clients.
It is good business to give their clients the means
to get every thing done quickly so that they can supply the mortgage
and make their money.
But very few Mom and Pop businesses use this to
their full advantage. By recommending another persons business you can
help your own business in one way or another. That is what this report
is all about.
I will tell you about the situations I mention above
to show you the overall plan.
Remember this statement: Yes you can run this
business with five minutes in the evening setting it up and finish it
on your way home from work the next day with a two-minute stop. You can
set up and run a program like this while you have friends over for a
weekend get together. Set it up while doing your shopping chores.
Anytime at all is a good time.
Here is what I did at a family gathering. One person
owned a landscaping and lawn mowing service and another person owned a
grocery store that had a garden center attached to it.
I asked the landscaper if he would like to get
customer referrals without asking for them and at the same time give
them a free gift. He said sure. Then I asked the garden center guy if
he would like to bring in more business and start a list of customers
that he would be able to market to without any work on his part. He
said sure, how much was it going to cost. I told him it would cost the
price of a thousand good quality business cards. He said sure. I made
arrangements to meet each at their place of business the next day.
Now these two businesses were about one mile apart
and although they knew each other they had never thought of using each
other services to get customers and make money for each other. All I
did was put them together and I made a quick $75.00.
That night I printed up a sample business card
(front and back) on plain paper in plain black ink. Here is a sample:
Rose’s Landscaping Service
This
card good for one FREE plant with a value of
$10.00 or less.
Redeem at
John’s Plant Depot

Hyde Park, NY 12538
Only one per household
And The Back of Card

“Above Must be Completed
for Redemption"
Now I told Rose all she had to do was give a
card to each of her customers as they finished a job and also to give
that customer four more cards for friends and neighbors. A total of
five. This way she gave an extra value to the customer and got her name
into the other four people’s hand with a chance of getting work from
them.
And John, for the price of one thousand
color business cards, ($100) got all of Rose’s customers to his store
for the price of a 50 cent plant. Update: (later on I found out that
each of the customers that redeemed the free gift card spent an average
of $25.00 on other plants.) Now was that a Win/Win/Win deal.
The third Win is me. It cost me $25 for a
thousand business cards and I made $75 bucks on the deal that took a
few minutes to set up.
The rest of this report is the step-by-step
instructions. Also I give you some businesses that can work this plan
together.
Step
One: Pick two businesses that will be in your travels.
All you have to do for this step is match
businesses that will benefit from this plan. I have listed a few here
to get you started. Once you start I am sure you will come up with a
lot of others.
Landscapers & Garden Centers Pizza &
Video
Construction & Home Inspection Insurance
& Accountants
Title Company & Surveyors Wedding Shop
& Flower Shop Photo Service & Gift Shop Auto Repair & Auto
Detailer Beauty Salon & Nail Salon Bowling Center & Golf Course
That is enough to give you the idea. Just
find an offer that makes all happy and run with it. If you ever get
stuck on finding matches just go to Ebay and click on any one of the
categories. Under each category you will see sub categories. These are
perfect matches for businesses that are related.
Step Two: Set
up a business card (front and back) on your computer
For this step use the copy from the sample I give
you above and put your own copy in the boxes. All it is two test boxes.
Make them big so the copy stands out so the business can see the copy.
Step Three: Print
out this business card on plain white paper.
You put both sides of the card on the same sheet of
paper so the business can see both sides at a glance.
Step four: Stop
in the first business and tell the owner you would like to
give him a gift for each of his customers
You can stop at either business first, but I stop in
the one that is going to get the “gift cards” first, so I can tell the
business that is going to pay for the cards that I already have a place
to give out the cards to all their customers.
You show the sample (in fact I put the sample page
in their hand) to the owner and say.
I have a business that is willing to give away a
gift to all your customers and it will not cost you a cent. This will
make a nice “thank you” gift for your customers. You’re looking at a
sample of how this works. The only thing you have to do is agree to pass
out the cards by placing them by your register. That is all there is to this part.
Step Five: Stop
in another business and tell the owner you can get him a ton
of new customers if he will pay for the printing of
the business cards.
Now that you have the first business lined up you go
to the second one. You hand him the sample with his business
information on it. You say to him:
I have a related but non-competing business that is
willing to give 1,000 of these cards to all of his customers. These
should bring in a good number of new customers to your business and
your only investment will be the cost of 1,000 good quality business
cards. What kind of special would you like to offer?
Then just answer his questions. Most of the
questions will be who is the business? How much? Just answer straight
forward and most will go for the plan.
If you get any resistance bring to his attention
that he will know exactly how many new customers he gets because they
have to return the cards to him and he will have their name, address
and email address for further promotions.
Step Six: Stop
at your local print shop and have the cards printed.
You now have to make up the card with the deal the
owner agreed to so you can give it to the printer. Use the MS Word
business card template. Use one for the front and another one for the
back.
If you want these cards printed right away you can
buy the blank card stock (use color stock) and have the printer print
your templates right on this stock. Have them cut them and you have
your business cards. It will cost you a little more this way for the
cutting but you can get it printed quickly. You can either wait for
them or continue on to step seven.
Step Seven:
Continue on your errands and stop back and pick up the
business cards.
Step Eight: Show
business #2 the sample cards and collect your money.
Step Nine: Drop
off cards at the first business.
You can work this with these same businesses every
month or so with a different offer. I just switch the roll of each
business. The one that gave away the gift this month receives the gift
cards from the other business next month.
When you get 10 of these pairings you will be bring
in $1,000 a month with $750 being profit for you. Not bad for a few
minutes work on each program.

$100.00
dollar bills lying on the Ground.
What I am going to tell you in this report will just
blow your mind away. I will show you in no uncertain terms
how YOU can pick up $100, $300, $500 or even a thousand dollars a day
for some of the easiest work you have ever done.
Stop at a
yard sale and pick up $200.00.
Next stop at an estate sale and pick up $400. Stop at another yard sale on the way
home and picked up another $300.
It was like picking up $100 dollar bills off of the street. That was my day last week. I picked up $900 bucks for the
easiest day ever had.
I never lifted anything that weight more then a couple of pounds
and put all the “stuff” in my car in a one-foot area on my back seat!
A friend of mine James Jones mention this technique
to me about three months ago. I
tried out the technique and made a few dollars with it. Not a lot but it didn’t take very
long and was easy and fun “work”.
Then I ran across some information that fit right in with what
he told me and “Bam” the first time I tried it, I made $900 bucks.
I am going
to show you the technique that I learned from James and then show you
how I made the $900 bucks with some information that is not know by
many people. And of the people that know about this bit of information
most do not know about James’ technique. The two together are powerful and can make you a lot of
money.
Here is the
technique that James told me about.
It is buying from storage units that are being auction off for
non-payment of the storage fees. BUT, that is not the best way to use
the information I am about to give you. I will reveal all a little later in this report.
What James
does and told me to do is go to auctions of storage units in my local
area and buy items that I can resell for a profit. I tried this a couple of times and
got some great buys for my self and for resale. On one sale I had to buy the entire
unit, everything that was in the unit, is the way this sale was
conducted. I had to get a truck
to move all of the items and I had to do it that day! That was not fun, but I learnt a
valuable lesson with that purchase.
It was the roadmap to a new way of making money for me that you
can do in your own area.
In the
following report I will walk you through what I did and how I did it to
come up with this moneymaking idea.
This will do two things.
1. It will show you how
to make money the same way I did.
And 2. It will show you how you will come up with ideas of your
own to make money by getting out and trying different ideas. When you least expect it an idea
will just jump up and grab you and will probably have nothing or very
little to do with the task you set out to do.
My program has nothing to do with buying from
storage units. But I want to
tell you the whole story and it was at a storage unit sale that I
“found” this idea.
James Jones
has a report out about buying items from storage unit sales in your
area and selling them on Ebay.
The report gives you a lot of great information on how to go
about buying the right merchandise.
Also tips on what to buy and what to watch out for when bidding
on the items for sale.
The whole
concept is this. Storage rental
places rent the units to people that need storage space. If they do not pay their bill the
rental place auctions off the contents to recover their loss of rental
fees. There are many reasons
why people don’t pay their storage fees like they may have passed away,
got a divorce, have money problems, etc.
Some of the
storage businesses sell the items in the units in piece lots or table
lots. What this means is that
they put a number of items on a table and you bid on all of them as one
lot. You have to take the good
with the bad. The larger items
are auction off separately.
Other
rental businesses auction off the whole unit. That means you have to bid on everything in the unit as
one lot. Again you have to take
the good with the bad. And in
most cases you do not get to open boxes or drawers to see what is
inside of these. You are
bidding blind and have to remove all of the items from the unit right
after the bidding. Some places
will give you to the end of the day but it must be “broom clean” in a
short period of time.
By only
being able to see the items in the unit from outside the door of the
unit you have to be careful when bidding or you could wind up with a
bunch of junk that you have to take to the dump.
On the same
hand you could wind up with some real valuable treasures. It is a crapshoot, but there are
ways to tell if the stuff inside the boxes has a good chance of being
items that will sell well for you.
One way is to look at the boxes and see if they are good sturdy
boxes and labeled. If they are
bought boxes, the kind you have to pay money for, and are labeled, you
can be pretty sure that the items inside are in good shape. Anybody that is going to spend money
on boxes and take the time to label them thinks highly of the items
they are putting inside.
As I said this is a crapshoot and I am
going to tell you a way to make money without the crapshoot or the work
of selling all those different items on Ebay. In fact you do not have to go to any auctions to run my
program. You can find my items
at retail stores and offer the items to other retail stores and still
make 10 times your investment.
On with the
rest of the story. One day I
was at a rental auction that had you bid on the whole contents of the
unit. I saw a mountain bike and
a go-kart that I thought I would like to have. I place a bid of $300.00 in my mind
as the highest price I would pay.
I won the unit for $260.00.
I was pulling out the boxes and I was curious as to what was in
them so I started to open them right there on the tail gate of my truck. One had a bunch of books in it and
since me and my wife are avid readers I started to look through the
books.
At that
time this guy came up to me and asked if I was going to keep the books
or would I like to sell them to him.
I saw this same guy at another auction a few weeks before and he
was buying books off of another person that had won a unit. This made me wonder what he was up
to. After talking with him for
a while he spilled the beans.
And NOW I am going to spill the beans to you.
I have
heard of people buying used books and selling them for a profit. In fact I tried that at half.com a
while back. I didn’t know what
I was doing but still made some money.
I sold a lot of the books I had in my own collection and then
bought books at yard sales and sold them. I did a little research on buying books and selling them
but not enough, as I was to find out from this stranger at this
auction.
When I
researched selling used books I found out that school textbooks sold
well and for a decent price. I
found out that how-to books sold well.
I found out that old books sold well. But nowhere did anyone tell me exactly what books to buy
that can return 10 times the price I paid and some time more. And that there were so many of them
at prices you will not believe.
I didn’t get this knowledge until this stranger showed me the way.
He drove a
hard bargain by saying he would show me how he made 10 times his
investment on every purchase of books he made if I would give him the
box of books I just bought from the storage unit. Well he had my interest because I am
always on the look out for ways to make money. And I was not planning on selling
these books; I was interested in them for my own personal use. So I
said OK.
These books
were in a sturdy store bought box and labeled “my book
collection”. They were mostly
hard cover books with the dust covers still on and looked like they
were in great shape. After I
agreed to the deal he took out a couple of books and show me the value
in them.
He opened
the first book to the title page and turned the page. On the back of the title page is the
information about the copyright and ISBN number and a lot of other
information none of us look at.
On this page in the first book he opened it said “first edition”
with a bunch of numbers like so: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 He told me that not all books are
labeled with the words “first edition” but all the books have these
numbers. If the number 1 is
there the book is a first edition.
If the numbers start with any other number then one then it is
not a first edition. For the 2nd
edition the numbers would look like this: 2 3 4 5 6 7 8.
Each time
the book is put out again a number is dropped from the sequence. So the forth edition would be like
this: 4 5 6 7 8
I just
grabbed a couple of the books that I have bought recently and when I
look at the back of the title pages I find on the first one the
following numbers.
First
Edition
12345678.
As you can
see the numbers start with one.
This book also says first edition. Now I always knew that an old book that was a first
edition was valuable but not a recent book. This book was printed in 1991 so it is only 14 years
old. I went to www.abebooks.com and looked up this
book. It is being sold for more
then $32 dollars. So if I put
this book on Ebay I know I should get about $15 for it. I bought this book for 50 cents at a
yard sale so I will get 30 times my money. But there is a faster way to get a profit on this book
even if I get less because it is more important to me to turn these
books fast, then to get every dime I can, but take longer. I will show you how to turn these
books fast and still make 10 times your money.
Here is
another book from my shelf to show you what a NON first edition looks
like.
Trump:
Think like a Billionaire—Everything you need to know about success,
Real Estate and life. ISBN
1400063558
456789
As you see
above this book is a forth edition.
When I go to Abebooks.com I find the following
The first
book on Abebooks.com with this title is selling for $19. But when you read the comments it
says it is a first edition.
When the
price popped up on this book I thought even though it is not a first
edition it is worth money. Then
I saw the text that said this price is for a first edition, first
printing. See where the arrow
is pointing? A run of the mill
book like fourth edition that I have is not worth much.
The book I
have was printed in 2004 and IF it was a first edition then it would be
worth about 19.00. Since mine
is a forth edition it is worthless.
I might get 50 cents for it at a yard sale.
Now you see
why it is important to buy only first editions. They are the books that are worth
money. Some are worth big
money. I picked up a book at a
used books store that was worth $200.00 and was selling for
$10.00. Most of the books you
find in used books stores are priced right. The owners know the value of a first edition and price it
so. But sometimes they missed
price some of the books and you can get a valuable book for
peanuts. It just goes to show
that you can pick up bargain books even from the pros.
You might
be saying OK, I understand that first editions are worth more then
other editions but how do I know what books to buy that will bring in
the big bucks? Good
question. I will give you some
tips on what kind of books to buy and as you do your own buying and
research you will get to know what you should buy and what you should
pass up.
When you
first start a good rule to follow is if it is going to cost more then
50 cents or so then leave the book on the shelf, without drawing to
much attention to it, and go to your computer and look it up at
abebooks.com. This way you will
know what the going price is.
After you do this for a while you will start to get a feel for
what is worth big bucks and what is just a $5 or $10 dollar book. Don’t get me wrong you can still
make a few bucks off of the $5 and $10 dollar books you just have to
sell more to make any decent money.

Any kind of
book where the people that get involved in it have a passion for that
subject. Remember to only buy

Where to buy books
Yard
Sales—Just go to
yard sales that have books for sales and browse the title pages. To be able to find the yard sales in
your area that has books for sale go to your local newspaper that lists
the yard sales in the classified ads.
Use the search function to find books. That will bring up all the yards sales that list
books. Also I have called the
ads in the paper and asked if they would have book for sale at the yard
sale.
Storage
Sales---don’t bid on the whole unit. Do like the stranger I met
does. Let other people buy the
unit and then ask if they want to sell just the books.
Used
books stores---These
are professionals. They know
the price a book should sell at.
But they make mistakes and overlook books all the time. Some hire college kids to tend the
store and they will rush through a shipment and miss some good books on
price. These are the kind you
want to find. I bet, from what
I have seen in my area, that you can walk into any used bookstore and
find some great buys. The only
bookstores I would stay away from are the ones that deal in rare
books. These owners are too
sharp and it is hard to find a bargain. I will show you how to use these types of bookstores
in the “selling” section.
Book
fairs---These are the book sale run by
organizations like the boy scouts, girl scouts, Elks club, Moose club,
etc. At most of these sales, the members donate the books, and you will
find some great buys. Most of
the members do not know the value of the books they have and the prices
are real bargains.
Library
sales---These are
the pros. They know what the
books should go for but a lot of times they price them to sell so they
can make room for the newer book they will be getting. I have found a number of good
bargains at these sales.
Estate
sales (This is a
great source) The richer the
estate the better the books.
The only draw back is the pro buyers attend these auctions. If you have a number of pros in your
area you will be hard pressed to get the lots at a good price. But again some books are
overlooked. I found one book
that was placed in an out of the way area at an estate sale and I sold
it that same day for $125.00.
I am going
to give you a web site where you can get a lot more information about
buying the right books. By
visiting this site you will learn a lot of the ins and out of buying
the right books. That is when
you make your money not when you sell.
If you buy right then you will make money. If you buy wrong you will lose money
or just break even. Before
doing any buying go to this site.
http://www.auctionbytes.com/cab/abu/y201/m06/abu0039/s05
http://www.auctionbytes.com/cab/abu/y201/m07/abu0041/s05
I am not an
affiliate of this site. It is
just good reading if you plan on buying and selling books.
Selling your books
Ebay.com---
Half.com----
Selling
books on the above two sites is a good business but I find it is now
too competitive. I look for
sites to sell my books that are targeted to the buyers of the subject
of the book. Just go to your
favorite search engine and type in a word that describes the book along
with the word “books for sale”.
So if I had a fishing book I would type in “fishing books for
sale.” A craft book would be
“craft books for sale”. Etc.
This will
bring up sites that have books on that subject for sale. Just find how to summit your book
and put it up for sale. You
know the going price from abebooks.com so you will price it right.
Local Book stores
I like to
sell to local bookstores. There
are two kinds of stores that will buy my books and they may pay in
different ways.
The first
is the rare bookstore. These
stores specialize in rare books and finding out of print books for
customers. They are always on
the look out for any rare book.
Now there are two meanings for rare. One is the old books that are hard to find. The other rare book is the book on a
special topic. This can be a
newer first edition book or an older book that is out of print. The newer “rare books” sell well in
these special subjects because the people that are looking for this
type of book are collectors on that subject. They are passionate about the subject and buy almost
anything to do with that subject.
These are the kinds of books you will be finding to sell.
Each
bookstore will buy in one of two ways.
They will either pay you cash or they will give store
credit. Both ways are good and
you should locate stores of each type.
The store that gives credit, you just use the credit to buy
better books that you can sell to the cash stores. And of course the cash stores are
your bread and butter. You
won’t get as much as if you sold the books online to the retail
customer but you can turn a lot of books into cash profits quickly.
To
summarize, here are the steps to follow that will start you in this
business for less then $10.00.
- Take 10.00 and go to some yard
sales or a book fair if one is running. Buy only books that are on a special subject from
the list above. And only
buy “first editions”.
- At yard sales and book fairs
you can get most of the books for 10 cents to 50 cents. Only pay 50 cents if your gut
feeling is the book will sell for 20 dollars or more.
- Bring your supply home and
check the prices on abebooks.com
- As you check the prices make up
a list of the authors, subjects and titles of the high price
books.
- As this list grows you will see
a trend. It might be a
certain author’s books is always getting top dollar or a certain
subject demands top dollar.
- Sell all your books from this
first batch Online so you can get top dollar. Use Ebay and Half.com and you
will build some capital.
If you got lucky with this first batch and got top dollar
books you will turn your $10.00 into $100.00 or more. If you get less don’t worry
because you are building a list of books that will bring top
dollar in the future. At
the same time you will at least triple your money.
- Now take the money your earned
on this first effort and buy some more books.
- Repeat until you have enough
money to buy some real classics that will bring in the big bucks.
By this time you will know what authors, titles, and subjects
fetch the most money.
- Now start looking in used
bookstores and estate sales for the big money books. You can still use the yard
sales and fairs to increase your capital. Make a list of stores that pay
cash and which stores pay by credit. You can use these stores to turn your book quickly
so you have the cash to buy more books.
- Repeat.
You now
know what to look for and where to buy and sell. It is just a matter of taking a
couple of hours a week and put it into practice. I spent $100.00 the first day I
tried this and made a gross amount of $923.00. That is a profit of $823.00. But I did a lot of research and I
had a jump start on you because I had sold books for a profit before.
If you have
limited capital don’t risk it by buying books for $10 or $20 because if
you fail you will be out of business until you can build some more
capital. Just take your time
and build slowly.

Secret Car Service
That Earns You
$125 An Hour
And No One Is
Doing It!
If You Can Sit On A

You Can Perform This
Service
By Jason Hatchet
/ Presented by Skip Rosell
That’s
right. You read it correct! NO ONE IS DOING IT.
Until now that is.
You see this report was put on Ebay as a test and some smart people
bought and used this service. But
the number of people that are performing this service is very small. It is about a thousand to one that
anybody is providing this service in your town or city. Even if there is one smart person in
your town the market is huge and can provide a good living for many.
This service is needed for thousands and thousands of
autos in each area. And you can render this service in a few minutes per
car. So that figure of $125 per
hour is not inflated, in fact it is a very conservative estimate. Don’t worry I am going to tell
you exactly what this service is and how you can profit from it. But first I would like you to know more
about what others are doing and how you can duplicate the same
results. Here are just a few of the
comments from the smart people on Ebay that got and used this report.

As you can see the people above received the report and
immediately saw the value and made money the same day they got the
report. It is that simple.
I said I would tell you about this service and I
will. First I would like to tell you
about the author of the program.
No, it is not yours truly, Skip Rosell. I wish I had thought of this service, but it is so simple,
like all the great programs, I overlooked it. I knew of the problem because I had it on my car, but I could
not find a way to correct it until I read the report. I bet you will say the same thing once
you see the report.
The author is Jason Hatchett and his wife Dawn. They run this service in their area on
just a part-time basis and make a nice piece of change. I will let Dawn tell you her story in
her own words.
My name is Dawn Hatchett and I have been doing
windshield repair for a bunch of used car lots for over 3 years now. I make
great money doing it, but it took a lot of practice in the beginning to
learn all the tricks and how to make the chips disappear. Now I
consistently make $50 to $100 an hour now that I am good at it.
This Service Has Nothing To
Do With Windshield Repair.
While I was at the car lots I started to notice
another service that was needed and no one was doing it. So I went and got
a certain product (which I will tell you about when you order this
information) and did one side of one car. I went in and got the manager and
showed him what I did (I only did one side to show him how bad it looked before).
He loved it and said they have been trying to
find someone to do this service for them but no one else did it. He also
said I could walk the lot and find all the vehicles that needed to be done
and bring him a list. So I walked the lot and out of 147 vehicles 38 needed
to be done.
I did
them all in less than 8 hours; each vehicle only takes about 10 minutes. I
made over $700 that day. Now I have 5 car lots that I provide this service
and I constantly bring in $600 to $1,000 a week just for this service alone
and It only takes about 8 to 10 hours a week.
This
is not like windshield repair where it takes 2 to 3 months to get good at
it. I am not kidding, ANY ONE CAN DO THIS! If you can tie your shoe, then
you can make great money doing this.
I
can’t tell you what the product is because you will be able to run right
out and buy it yourself. But I can tell you that you can get it for about
$10 and that’s enough to do 100 cars or more, so your overhead is very low.
Thank You,
Dawn Hatchett
When I got the report I went out and bought the unique
product and did my car, four neighbors cars and my son-in-laws car and I
got the same reaction from all of them.
They were amazed!
Like I do with all the programs I write about I wanted
to try it out and see if I could make some money with it. I also wanted to see if any one can
“sell” this service. Well I found
out the service “sells” it’self.
Here are my results from the first two car lots I
stopped at. At the first lot I
walked around and saw a number of cars that needed this service. A person
that I thought was a salesman came up to me and I found out that he was the
owner of the lot. I ask him if I
could show him my service and he said ok. I did one half of the needed
service on the first car. Just like
Dawn did. He loved it. I did 15 cars at that lot and walked
away with $285.00.
The next lot was a small one and I got the same results
but for less cars. Total from that
lot was $160.00. Grand total
$445.00 for less then 3 hours of easy work. I took my time and didn’t push because I was new at this
service. But there was no need to worry because after doing my neighbors
and my car I was a pro at it.
I am not only telling you what this service is I am
showing you the results you can get.
Of course if you know me in the least you know I found out the best
way to perform this service and how to get the business owner to beg me to
do his inventory. J
Now just with the information I have given you with some
searching you might find the right product. And with a little more work you might find the best way to
make money from this service. But
to make the kind of money that can be made with this service and not have
to lift a finger to get ALL the know-how, all you have to do is get the
report. That way, you can start
making money 15 minutes after you
read the report.
The rest of this report will show you how to run this
business without any hard sell. I
will tell you just what to say and do to make at least $125.00 per hour.
Step One
Don’t let the shortness or the simplicity of this service fool you, some day’s my wife
and I
will
make as
much as a lawyer.
Don’t let the shortness or the simplicity of this service fool you, some day’s my wife
and I
will
make as
much as a lawyer.
This information will show you a service that
you can
provide
for car lots and you can make at least $50 an hour. It’s very easy, and
anyone can do it. If you go to any used car lot and look at the black plastic on the cars
& trucks,
like door handles, bumpers, and side mirrors. You will notice that a lot of
them are starting to get white and discolored. The reason for this is wax and the sun.
There is really nothing you can do about it except dye it.
All you do is get a bottle of this special black dye called Bumper
& Trim Black.
You can get it here: http://www.autogeek.net/forblacbumtr.html
Or got to any auto supply store.
It’s only about $10 or $15 and it is enough
for about 100
cars.
Review Step One
·
Purchase a bottle of Bumper & Trim Black (Will do about 100 cars)
·
That was easy right? The rest is just as easy
Step Two
Now that you have the bottle of
Bumper & Trim Black you need to practice on your own car or a friends
or family member. After one or two cars
you’re a
pro. It is that easy. Do the mirrors and door handles. The bumper takes a little more product
but goes on faster.
You just rub it on just like your polishing your shoes. It’s that simple. After you rub it
on go around and wipe
with a towel to make sure it’s dry. This
is a dye and will penetrate into the plastic
Review Step
Two
·
Practice on your own car and a couple of others.
·
Your now as good as you will get (Another easy
step)
Step Three
Now that you’re a pro you are
ready to make some money. Go to any
used car lot and check the stock.
You will find many cars that need either the mirrors, door handles
or bumpers that need this service.
Many cars will need all of the above done.
Now go in and ask for the owner or GM. (General Manager) Don’t worry these people are usually very
friendly and are accustom to salespeople. I have
never had one of them be mean to me.
The worst that will happen is you might have to wait a few minutes
to talk to him.
Now you have to get them to agree
to a demonstration. This is very
easy too. You can use the following
script and almost all will agree.
Hello, my name is------------------------------------------- and I have a special service that no one else does. You know how a lot of the black
molded plastic on your vehicles start to turn white.
Well I restore it
to look like new with a special
product. Now this product
is not a dressing and it’s not a paint, but a permanent dye that penetrates
into the plastic and restores it to look showroom new. I would like to do one
for you for FREE to show you how
great it looks.
He’s going to say sure, go ahead. They all want one done for free.
At this time go out and walk the lot
and find a bad one. Do one of the door handles and leave the other ones alone.
Go back and get him and show him the bad one compared to the one you
just restored. He will LOVE it.
At this point tell him:
What I would like to do is come by once a week
and walk the lot and make a list of all the bad ones and report them to your or your
service manager. He will most likely ask how much it will cost?
Review Step Three
·
Give your spiel to the owner or GM
·
Do part of a car so you can show him the
difference.
·
Ask to do all the cars on the lot that need it by
making a list for his review each week.
Step Four
When he asks How Much you give
him these prices.
·
Door Handles - $5 Each
·
Mirrors - $10 Each
·
Bumpers - $25 Each
Any other black plastic just charge what ever you want according to
its size.
Do the work and then go inside and get a purchase order number. You will put this number on a bill and
leave with the office. You can make
yours from any Word template you like.
You can also buy the billheads at any office supply store. Here’s Dawn’s explanations of how to
make it out and how to use it to get paid.
To bill the car lot
you will need to get a invoice book at any office store. I get the 3 part
carbonless and always give them the yellow sheet. Also make sure you stamp
the yellow sheet with your name, phone # and address. Here is one of my invoices this took me just
under 2 hours.
Where it says
quantity, I put the year of the car. Where it says description the first number is the stock number. The middle is the make of the car and the last
number is the last 8 digits of the VIN. All this info is on the window
sticker. Then put the price.
They will give you a purchase order number (PO#) just write it where it says customer order number. You’re all done now go to
your next lot and walk the lot and find all the bad ones.
The first of the month you’ll want
to send them a bill with each invoice’s info on it and mail it
to their accounts payable and they will mail you a check like clock work.
Here is one mistake you are
going to make sooner or later. That
is to get the dye on the painted surface of the car. Don’t worry just use some denatured alcohol on
your towel and wipe It off.
Now you know how and you will have very little
if any competition in this business.
Go on to the next car lot and do the same. But watch out, because if you start putting more then 10
hours a week in to this business, you might have to say GOOD-BYE to your
BOSS. J

There
are many ways to make some quick cash when needed. I just did a check on my computer and
found over 30 programs I have to make quick cash. Some of these programs are one-shot deals. That is a program where you can pick up
some money on a one-time basis. An
example is to run a yard sale. Once
all the unneeded items you have around the house are sold that’s it.
Some of these programs can be expanded to make them a
part-time or even a full-time business.
To stick with the yard sale program, you could ask friends, family
and neighbors to give you their unwanted items and hold a yard sale every
week. You could also take it
farther by buying up the stuff left over from other yard sales (I have a
program just for this) and resell them with your own yard sale. Or you can start a business running or
organizing yard sales for others. I
even have a program just for getting “traffic” to other people’s yard sales
The following program is one of these programs that you
can use for just making a quick buck when you need it or you could add
services to make it in to a full-time business.
I found out about this service from Lawrence, a friend
of mine, who has tested this program. I will let Lawrence tell you about
this program in his own words, but first, I like to go over the reasons why
this service words so well.
The first reason is you do not have to do any
face-to-face selling. You will meet
people while performing the service that will become your customers and
they will also refer others for your service. This makes this service easy for anyone to do.
For the customer it is easy to buy your service because
they are not tied into a long service contract. There are many people that want this service but only on a
“when needed” basis. Most of the
contractors in this service do not offer this service except with a yearly
contract so you will have the market all to yourself.
You can do as much or as little as you want with this
service. If you decide to keep it
only to a few customers, to make just some extra income, you can do
that. If you want to expand into a
part-time business, you can do that.
You can also expand it in to a full time business. With no contracts you can also scale it
back at any time you want if you have to.
This is the ideal business to start part-time. And as a benefit you will also keep in
great shape. This business can save
you hundreds of dollars on work out fees from a gym or health club. Good luck.

No Contract Lawn Mowing
Service
By
ă 2005 NSN Co./Presented by Skip Rosell
This is a simple but profitable business approach that
was developed from requests of several neighborhood residents.
In my home service business dealings, I was asked,
several times, if I knew of anyone who would do lawn mowing without the
need for a monthly contract – or any contract at all.
It seemed that many people would be fine with mowing
their own lawn in most any type of neighborhood. It’s not uncommon to see residents in upper class areas
mowing their own lawns. But if they
were too busy or going out of town or not feeling well or up to it, then
the lawn would not get mowed.
I heard enough requests for this that I decided to
give it a try and test out the approach.
I, personally, was too busy to do the work, but I knew of someone
who would. We came to an agreement,
that if I developed the flyer and had them distributed, would he do the
mowing and split the profits with me?
He agreed.
I created a simple flyer that offered lawn mowing on
demand – no contracts – for just $19 and $3 more for the back yard. But, for that price, it would have to be
a rather small front lawn and even smaller back yard lawn.
Driving around revealed several areas where the homes
had small lawns and also many of the lawns were obviously in need of
mowing. Not all lawns in the area
were small, but enough to do the test.
With a starting test of 300 flyers, I proceeded to
distribute them to the doors of homes with lawns that could easily be cut,
edged and blown in less than 20 minutes.
The sizes of the back yards were easy to determine by just walking
around or doing a quick visual calculation.
If a yard seemed too large to cut, edge and blow
within 20 minutes, then those homes did not get a flyer that offered the
$19 job.
I distributed the 300 flyers on two consecutive days
within the same general neighborhood and then waited for the calls to
come. My friend, who would be doing
the actual work, was anxious for this to fly, since he needed the money.
By the end of the first week after flyers were
distributed, there were no calls – not even one. We were disappointed and discouraged, but what could we do?
Week two produced no calls either. But just two days into week three there
was a call for the service. Kevin
went out and did the job – both front and back yard for a total of $22 plus
he got a $3 tip. He was able to do
the entire job in about 30 minutes.
By the end of week three there were four additional calls.
I made some flyers offering the service for $23 and
$29 respectively for medium and larger sized lawns. While Kevin was doing the work, I would
go to neighbor’s doors and let them know we were available for “no contract
mowing” and handed them a flyer with the appropriate price according to the
size of their lawns.
I put out another 100 flyers in that same area and saw
the calls coming on a more regular basis now. It seemed that as the word was spreading, the calls became
more frequent.
This was a unique service offered by a company (rather
than the neighbor kid) where they could call whenever they wanted if they
didn’t feel like getting out there and doing the work themselves. Until this was offered, they either did
the work themselves or resigned themselves to hiring a lawn maintenance
company that would obligate them to a lengthy contract.
We used a simple, basic residential power mower. Kevin had a two-week vacation coming, so
I stopped putting out the flyers until he returned. However, there were still calls and when
I returned those calls to tell them there would be a delay for service, I
sensed immediate disappointment.
This simple business fills a need that, to my
knowledge, has not been addressed before.
There is definitely a market for this and without a contract, they
are not obligated to you, nor or you to them on a regular basis. There were several people who asked for
regular weekly or bi-monthly mowing and we put them on a list to do so. There were also requests for other
related work like hedge trimming and weed and shrubbery removal.
Basically, this simple, needed service began to grow
and with consistent flyers, talking with the neighbors and just being
visible in the neighborhood - when doing the work - would grow into something
significant if the manpower to handle the work was available. Of course, just one person could do
this, but there are limits to how much one person can do!
That was the extent of the test that proved very
successful for two seasons.
Additional testing with prices, according to lawn size, could
further improve the profits for this unique business that definitely fills
a gap that’s always been there, but no way for people to fill it!

Driveway Pressure-washing
This
is a report about a pressure-washing niche that I learned about from a guy
I met while doing business.
I
was operating my curb address business in a concentrated area when I saw
this guy pressure-washing homes.
Since we worked the very same area, I ran into him a lot and he was
always busy, always working.
Tim
and I became acquainted through numerous contacts while out in the
field. Tim’s business interested me
since I knew very little about pressure-washing, but could tell that he was
making a lot of money.
At
first, Tim knew nothing about pressure-washing, but was laid off from a
very good job and could not find work.
He had an early 90’s Pontiac Sunbird and decided to offer
pressure-washing to make some money.
The handle of his pressure-washer could be seen sticking out from
the trunk of his small car while he drove from job to job.
What
Tim did to get started with this actually created an interesting niche with
pressure-washing.
He had two small flyers done that offered driveway pressure-washing. There were two versions: One offered to pressure-wash the
driveway for $45 and those were put on doors of homes with small driveways. The other flyer was the same, but with a
price of $65. Those, he put on
doors of homes with medium sized driveways.
Tim’s
response to the flyers was relatively small – just around 3%, which is
typical for services like this.
After getting a few jobs from flyer response, Tim would go door to
door, offering his service to the same homes that first received his flyers. He was able to get a lot more business
this way – the same way I discovered that works so well after flyers are
distributed.
However,
Tim was able to get much more than just driveways from this. He ended up doing anything and
everything he could including:
Walkways, windows, decks, sides of homes and roofs.
Tim
was always very busy, in fact he would work 12 hours a day, 5 or 6 days a
week and claimed to earn as much as $2000 a week with all he did. I don’t doubt that for a second.
Pressure-washing
can be very profitable, but when doing sides of homes, roofs and decks, you
need to know what you’re doing. Too
much pressure can actually damage those areas if done the wrong way. Tim acknowledged that he did do some
damage at first, but learned quickly how to control the wand and how to do
a good job no matter what.
Tim
started out with a pressure-washer from Home depot rated at 2400 PSI. That is rated for personal, home use
only and not commercial use.
Nevertheless, this unit served Tim well and he ended up getting
another washer rated at 2600 PSI and a third, rated at 3000 PSI. He was doing heavy-duty work and need a
back up unit, as well as one that could do the more difficult jobs.
He
made a lot of money, but was constantly working and felt burned out a lot.
We
talked about various ways to do this and the conversation came back to the
way he started – by just offering to pressure-wash driveways.
What
Tim discovered was that pressure-washing a small driveway for $45 takes
only 15 to 20 minutes. And he
offered to do the walkway and in front of and on the side of the house for
just $10 more. The same applied for
the medium sized driveways for $65.
But,
being larger, those took around 30 to 40 minutes. With a $10 add on for walkways, that generates over $100 per
hour. The smaller driveways for $45
done in 20 minutes and a $10 add-on for walkways also produces over $100
per hour.
Driveways
quite often have minor to extensive oil stains. Some cannot be totally cleaned by just pressure-washing. Tim would offer to thoroughly clean
those driveways by first using a chemical degreaser he got from Home
Depot. That treatment got him an
extra $15 to $20, with a cost to him of only a $1 or $2 for the chemical
application itself. The chemical needed
to soak for only 10 minutes and then the whole driveway could be pressure
washed very clean. Most of the
people with oil stains would go for the grease removal treatment.
That
add-on would generate around $70 for a small driveway and $90 for a medium
sized one. That’s $70 for a 30
minute job and $90 for a 45 minute job (including the 10 minute soak time
for the grease spots. This is well
over $100 per hour!
Pressure-washing
just driveways and walkways requires very little skill, since it’s just cement
and no damage would be done.
Tim
agreed that this would be a great way to do business, but said he was going
to continue doing what ever he could – anything they wanted.
I
asked Tim if he would be OK with me doing an experiment with this and put out
some flyers offering the driveway pressure-washing. He had no problem with
that. Perhaps, because there were
times, when he was so busy, that I helped him out.
Out
of curiosity, I put out flyers to offer this service to four different
streets – about 150 flyers in all.
The response was slow to come at first, but there were calls after
about a week. There was obviously
interest in this segment.
Since
I was so busy with my addressing business, I did not continue on with the
pressure-washing, but from what I saw with Tim and my own limited
experience with a few flyers, I’m convinced that this is a great way to
make great money in very short order.
Knocking
on doors after doing the flyer response jobs is what makes the big money
with this, as with any home service offering. A door to door presentation for this is simple:
“Hi,
we do the pressure washing for homes in this area and had passed out these
flyers last week about doing your driveway for a special reduced
price. We just finished the driveways
of your neighbors “Tom and Jan” and also “David and Pam” and wanted to see
if you like to have yours done at this special low price – would you?”
Some
say “no”, some say “yes” and others are not sure. To those who say “no” or “not sure” – leave another
flyer. People do decide to do this
and often change a “no” to a “yes” upon seeing the difference between their
dirty driveway and their neighbor’s sparkling clean one. They will also approach you upon seeing
you doing other driveways on the block.
Also
when you get a job, take before and after photos. This is a tremendous help when showing to people while you’re
offering the service.
You’ll
need at least a 2400-PSI pressure washer.
Home Depot has them now rated at 2600-PSI for less than $400.
You
can also check with pawnshops about getting a good used pressure washer for
around $100 or even less.
Give
this one some thought, since it’s been proven to generate great money.
You
can check online for pressure washing forums. They offer good info for those who are serious about this.
Lawrence
Make up a flyer like you did for the lawn service and
you are in business.
